Lions up 13-6 at half on Bears. Neither offense looked particularly good as Lions lone TD came late in the 2nd quarter after Bears had a 14 second possession just after the 2 minute warning.

Mitch "8 for 20" Trubisky

But hey, he has confidence this year.

This experiment needs to end.

Meanwhile in New England, Cam Newton is 10/13 for 118 yards to go along with 41 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Bears should have lost that game. That effort wont’t beat a good team. Fortunately for the Bears, I’m not sure they play a good team until they see the Rams in week 7.

I was disappointed in the defense. They are supposed to be dominant. It looked like the Bears could run a bit too. And the 4th quarter will have to give some confidence to the offense. Winning a division road game, week 1, I'll take it.

They got put in bad situations by the offense for a good chunk of the game.

I know they're favored by 5.5 at home against the Giants this coming weekend. The games the next two weeks will be against teams with questionable secondaries (the Giants especially so who are basically cobbling together a bunch of ham-and-eggers back there) so the offense should have a chance to work on things. I could see them being 4-0 going into the game against Brady and the Bucs.
