The Christopher Lane story sickens me - first for what happened, and second the media outrage - or rather, lack thereof. Imagine if the suspects were white and the victim was black.

Where's the outrage from Jesse Jackson? from Al Sharpton? Nope, nothing but crickets from them and the rest of the media.
KJ, i couldnt agree more on both stories. How about the 3 black kids that beat the sh*t out of the white kid on a school bus breaking his arm and severly injuring him. Crickets..........and it was all caught on camera. The elderly school bus driver was too scared to intervene. He quickly retired after the incident. Its ok though cause it was a white kid getting beat up by some blac kids. Thats not racism , right. The kid snitched on them because they tried to sell him dope sobthe retaliated and beat the hell out of him. No rev al seen on that one. And why do they call these idiot race baiters revs, they clearly are scum race baiting trash. They should never be considered as clergy.

bob, unadressed behavior is condoned behavior. White kid gets the hell beat out of him and it barely makes the news. Fox covered the story. I dont remember where it occured but it was only about a week ago. The incident occured on a school bus and it was 3 black kids throwing hay makers and kicking and stomping on this kid breaking his arm. It was all caught on the school bus video camera. The elderly bus driver yelled at the kids to stop but they kept on beating the white kid. The bus driver was too scared to intervene. Google the story and im sure you will find it. The sad thing is, these race baiting low lifes that call themselves ministers will speak out about injustice perceived against a black person yet they remain quiet when it comes to black on black crime and violence and black against white violence. They are worse than the criminals themselves.

There are thousands and thousands of homicides in the US every year. Only a handful make the national news, which is sad but I don't think that makes the media pro-murder. And fewer still get commented on by "race-baiting lowlifes," but somebody not commenting doesn't equal condoning. I don't get your complaint. Are the race-baiting lowlifes supposed to run out at 9:00 every morning and say "I condemn the 26 homicides that occurred across the US yesterday?"

Parent Accuses Football Coaches of Bullying After 91-0 Win

The parent of a North Texas high school football player has filed a bullying complaint against a rival team's coaching staff after a 91-0 loss.

The undefeated Aledo Bearcats have made a habit of soundly defeating their opponents this season. After seven games, the team is outscoring the opposition 485-47.

A Western Hills High School parent filed the bullying complaint after Bearcats defeated the Fort Worth school 91-0 on Friday

Buchanan said he started substituting players in the first quarter. He also said the game clock ran continuously starting toward the end of the third quarter.

But when asked why the team did not simply start kneeling the ball -- in effect, stop trying to play the game -- Buchanan was clear in his answer.

"To go out and tell your kids, 'No, I don't want you to play hard, because we're ahead,' that's against every fundamental coaching strategy that you have," he said.

Little Johnny finally plays a sport where they don't hand out participation ribbons, and Mommy & Daddy throw a fit...

I've sat thru an epic beatdown or two as a parent on both sides of the score. Not fun but there are a whole group of kids on most teams that get to play less. Let them have some play without making them kneel the ball down. I like the coach's thoughts. Sounds like the Dad that filed the complaint needs to grow a pair. What chance does that kid have in life with a loser like that for a dad?

Plus after reading the article, that team has lost every game this season by massive margins. I'd be yelling at my kid's coach, not the opposing team's.

I am the executioner of the Arab Republic of Egypt. I hold the rank of chief warrant officer in the police and the prison authority. I am Egypt’s executioner, responsible for carrying out the death penalty.

I love people, and people love me, but when I am doing my job, I am carrying out the law of Allah.

I have placed [the noose] around some 800 heads – tough people, big people, young people… All the despicable crimes – killing, adultery, premeditated murder, and so on… I carry out all the death sentences.
In all honesty, I love my work. I just love it! I never say “no” when they need me at work. This is my work and my livelihood.

I'm sure many of you heard about this since it's been making the rounds on all the national, and international, new reports. It was certainly the talk of the town around here today. My biggest question, and I would assume everyone else's, is how the heck does this happen? This is one big !!! plane and an itty bitty airport. They make stops in Wichita every month or two, so it's not as if it's completely foreign territory. I'm not a pilot, but when you're looking for a giant Air Force Base with 12,000 foot runways, you would think some red light would go off when you get closer and closer to an executive airport with a 6100 foot runway.

The pilot of a Boeing 747 jumbo jet mistakenly landed at a small Kansas airport not far from the Air Force base where it was supposed to deliver parts for the company's new 787 Dreamliner. The 747 intended to touch down at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, which is next to a company that makes large sections of the 787.

Instead, the cargo flight landed 8 miles north, at the smaller Col. James Jabara Airport.

Lawsuit claims an 80-year-old woman died trying to escape a morgue freezer

Maria de Jesus Arroyo -- an 80-year-old grandmother with more than 50 grandchildren -- was pronounced dead in July 2010 after suffering a heart attack. A few days later, she was found in a half unzipped body bag, face-down with a broken nose and cuts and bruises to her face -- injuries family members said were not there at the time she was hospitalized, according to court papers.

Nine month-old baby bailed on attempted murder charges in Pakistan 'goes into hiding'

pc-140408-pakistan-baby-830a_6d8b78182550f014bf9f30f28a8d76b2.nbcnews-ux-520-400.jpg

Relatives of a nine-month old baby recently bailed after being charged with attempted murder in Pakistan have taken the infant into hiding, a member of his family said on Tuesday.

Baby Mosa Khan appeared in court in the city of Lahore last week, charged with attempted murder, threatening police and interfering with state affairs along with his father and grandfather after a mob protesting against gas cuts and price increases stoned police and gas company workers trying to collect overdue bills.

The report lodged a complaint against the whole of Muhammad Yaseen's family, which unilaterally included his nine-month-old grandson whom he brought with him to court.

No reason to fear for the future of Pakistan with sound practices like charging entire families for capital crimes. Sound policy, there.

A gang banger directs the kidnapping of his prosecutor from jail, only the team he builds on his cell phone kidnaps the father by mistake
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/abductors-accidentally-kidnapped-wrong-target-indictment-n87216

Duh, you'd think having the name Colleen would indicate the target was a female. But I guess maybe you just don't know nowadays. Then again, I doubt many gang bangers graduate near the top of their class, assuming they'd graduate Jr High even.

Hmm, original story indicated the target was the father, as a means of intimidating the DA. Interesting change.

Either way, how idiotic. If there was ANY doubt on the DA's part in this case, a kidnapping would surely convince them to drop all charges

Maybe not WTF-enough, but yet another college has been sued for telling its students they can't hand out copies of the United States Constitution. Given the widely-publicized lawsuit against Modesto Junior College in CA for doing basically the same thing, it's borderline insane that colleges haven't figured out that they can't do that yet...

HILO, Hawaii, April 24, 2014—A student ordered by administrators to stop handing out copies of the U.S. Constitution at the University of Hawaii at Hilo has filed a lawsuit today in federal court. Merritt Burch is suing the University of Hawaii System for violating her First Amendment rights. She is joined as a plaintiff by fellow student Anthony Vizzone.

Burch and Vizzone are represented by Robert Corn-Revere, Ronald London, and Lisa Zycherman of Davis Wright Tremaine and assisted by the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE). Davis Wright Tremaine and FIRE recently helped a student successfully settle a similar suit against Modesto Junior College in California.

“So far this academic year, students have twice been prohibited from distributing the Constitution on a public campus, less than four months apart. That is absolutely unacceptable,” said FIRE President Greg Lukianoff. “The First Amendment is not optional at public colleges—it’s the law. Enforcing restrictive ‘free speech zone’ policies that prevent students from passing out copies of the Constitution is impossible to justify.”

And these are supposed to be learning institutions? They don't learn as fast as one would expect, do they? smh
