Yeah I thought that too - mentioned it to my cousin's husband, a double Purdue alumni. He said "We're gonna take Ryan Walters and close the circle". That was last week after we all went to the championship game together. I was nervous hearing him say that, but not surprised it's come to pass.

They can get penalized for public criticism of the refs, right? Saying that he sent clips to them is as far as public criticism without blowback can go. He will also have more clout going forward doing things this way.

Everyone showed up all at once, and were using digital tickets which they hadn't pre-downloaded. It brought the cell phone and wifi bandwidth to a stand-still. If people pre-loaded their tickets this would be far less of a problem. I doubt cell providers are going to add permanent capacity...

OK so we lost. But this wasn't 63-0 and we were in it for most of the game. It was actually entertaining! Amazing how the right coach/coaches can make a difference right off the bat! I look forward to seeing Illini football in the future and having us be dominant! It is happening!
