He can't be like a puppy. Taking quick 3s aand jumping around. The kid has potential and a high ceiling. He needs more tick. But at the same time he can't make the mistakes that keep him out of the game. Underwood needs to work on that.
They
They don't know anything and they won't comment until they do. The fact that's he's still meeting with the team doctors and family is not a good sign.
Can't make all those mistakes in the first half and shoot so poorly from the free-throw line. We definitely got jobbed in the second half. It's too much to overcome against a team like MSU. I hope Ayo is ok.
Was it me or did it seem like the first half took forever? I think I had 52 minutes by count. It's like the Maryland technical fouls seem to work in their favor and extend the game. And it's hard to hold off a team like that for an extra/extended amount of time.
You have to remember that the "recruiting class rankings" are largely based on the volume of recruits brought in. Illinois has a small recruiting class because we've had the smallest group of Seniors in the Big Ten if not all of football over the last two years. Fewer seniors mean fewer...
I'm not liking how everyone is saying there is a competitive disadvantage because the kid didn't enroll here. He had offers from other Big Ten schools including Michigan and didn't go there either. So who knows what happened. I hope he makes the best of his time at Cincinnati. Move on and do a...
I agree. Maybe the kid was way off. He transferred out of Marist to Naperville Central. And I don't know why. But that seemed to be the wrong direction especially after the season Marist had before he left. So who knows.
U of I makes 10x the money off of acdemics with grants, donations, etc than other schools do with football. That's why they keep their standards the way they are. In all honestly U of I does not need football. Our endowment is over a billion dollars.
I put this loss squarely on Giorgi. Can't make that stupid !!! lackadaisical pass at that point of the game. All we had to is hold on to the ball. At worst take a 2 point lead down the stretch. But no, he handed Iowa the tie. I wish Brad would have kept him out the rest of the game as punishment.
