At first I wasn't sure why they didn't just postpone it until like May or something, then I realized that the players had to, I mean the students had, uh, classes, the players, uh, finals...
Sorry, couldn't get that out with a straight face.
Consider the consequences of keeping everyone home and being wrong about it vs. going on as usual and being wrong about it. Even in hindsight, what will have mattered is making the right decision based on what we know today.
What BillyBob said. Dude just took a step or two forward, no big deal, but the timing was perfect to get him in frame. (I think the video of the play posted by the official UIMBB account cuts those two guys in, lol.)
Archie demanding that replay be used to make the Hue Hollins call on that missed three still has me giggling. Also, the final scrum with those two fools from Carmel coming on the court to yell at the refs was like some sort of renaissance painting.
I love watching Hoosiers melt down.
There are a lot of things to hate Rick Pitino for, but for some reason I have it in my head that his rise to prominence is why coaches no longer wear flammable team-colored jackets anymore. It wasn't just Lou who wore them, it was pretty much everyone, and it was hilarious.
I thought it was nice that his comment to Ayo in the handshake line was "I'm glad you're healthy," especially after Ayo had basically singlehandedly buried his team. He's just a coach, and coaches sometimes do coach things like work the refs.
If you guys need your heel fix, Fran comes to town...
