I'm as big of a three-pointer evangelist as you will find, so no argument there. Regardless of how marginal shooters react to the new line, they'll adapt in about three years or so and the point will be moot.

I think that the spacing will make life difficult on any defense, but my initial thoughts are that pressure defenses will fare better than more conservative ones. There will be more long passes, more players in space that they're not used to playing in, and perhaps less of a penalty for leaving...
I would go one step further and say that taking away Lovie's authority over his staff would likely be more damaging to our subsequent coaching searches than firing him outright. Firing a guy who was 13-35 makes sense, but micromanagement from your AD is a nightmare scenario.
I'm more bearish on this team than most in this thread, but if losing Aaron Jordan is your biggest issue you can't feel too bad about things. Not bagging on the kid as your points above are well taken, but it's much, much easier to replace a role player than a star.
