Making no predictions on the coming year, but I LOVE the look in DGL’s eyes after that slam. Whether he contributes much this year or not, I hope he sticks around… because I’m a fan.

So, I kind of checked out mid season. My old heart required it and I sensed it was a time to sit idly by. Now that it’s over, just a late-night, drunken observation… I really hope all the freshmen are back (especially Jaden), RJ, Goode, and Coleman. Anyone else is gravy. Dain would be great too...

So, not to put words in your mouth (although…), he “may” have been helpful this year with transfers?? This is my concern with BU saying we will get in “rock stars.” Fine, but how will they gel? And this is not a knock on anyone. Just raising concerns/questions. I’m rooting for BU and the Illini!

Really? So we’re going to throw a freshman under the bus for this exchange, but not a veteran coach? Okay. I’ve never been a D1 athlete, but I don’t see this as all that out of line. 🤷‍♂️

Is that FDU coach weird or is it just me?

I’m amazed by the number of blocks he has where, rather than swatting it out of bounds, he ends up with the ball. Now I’d like to see him be able to stay on the floor longer.

Man, we used to have a corgi, and the worst day of my life was having him put to sleep. I stayed with him until the end…. trying to close his eyes, and they wouldn’t… And it’s shaping up to be just like this season. (Sorry, probably not what you meant with this post. Sorry).

I was recruited to run juco track by a coach who would supply my “pruman.” I’d already been paid to work since I was 15. It was just another arrangement. That was 1981.

Romancing the stone?? (And I have no idea how I knew that!). Although, there’s not much romance here. But seems a lot of stone cold sober. ;)

I’ve actually been going to post for awhile that I can see Lieb as our only returning player next year. I was only joking to myself though, but now I’m not so sure. And I mean no disrespect to BL.

This may be for a different reason though.

I don’t know that being coddled and protected from danger is always it. Sometimes it’s just the ability to tolerate total a-holes.
