Basing it off his performance at Hampton compared to Grandison’s at Holy Cross. No disrespect t
Grandison just different body types, and games led me to make that statement.
I don’t mind if Stanley isn’t granted eligibility. He’s a much better rebounder than BBV, and Grandison, but we will need him more in 2021-2022 with no Kofi, and most likely FR Mac Etienne as our only polished/semi-polished BIG.
The way this class is setup we may take as many as 28 guys and multiple transfers due to the 30+ players that will be gone after this season. While a lot of these guys dont have the star rating we want, you must realize that we aren’t halfway through this class. We will get the Top 1000 guys and...
Tarique Barnes looked pretty good as a true freshman. Can’t speak on the others because they haven’t played yet, but I’m sure if you look past the stars and he sees that we’re bringing in linebackers who are 6’2 and run in the 4.5s I don’t think he minds
When looking at the film of this class I am extremely surprised at the Florida guys (Rosiek, Moffitt, Edwards, and Bryant) as they all seem vastly underrated. On the other hand not so impressed with the Georgia or Texas commits so far. Interesting how they keep pulling these guys with crazy...
What you’re saying makes sense, but that’s how a lot of transfer recruiting battles work. Usually they go somewhere the recruit has had a connection too beforehand. On that note we landed former four stars like Eifler, Hightower, and Christian Bell (I know he is going somewhere else) so it’s not...
It seems like we have a good shot with Pat Bryant https://247sports.com/player/patrick-bryant-46049780/. He’s a mid tier 3 star committing on Sunday, but offers from Penn State, Florida State, and Miami show signs that he’s highly underrated.
Can someone explain how Justin Macias could be rated a decent amount higher than Joriell Washington, but Washington’s offer list being way more impressive?
I go to Indiana and after watching our games I think the best comparison is a taller, more chiseled version than Kipper Nichols. If I were Illinois I would pass a lot of weaknesses in his game, and besides maybe Joey Brunk probably most useless rotation player while on court.
This is a random question but does anyone have a realistic expectation for this class by amount of players per position/names that are looking at us? Would like to hear so I know where to put my expectations at for the end result of this class. Thanks.
