This is the kind of game you need to put the fear of God into your team. Two easy wins and playing three days in a row is going to lull you a bit. They survived, but hopefully this is an eye opener for this team (particularly our freshmen).
I still think, given Lovie's temperament, that he doesn't care either way. It's just how the game is played in his mind.
Also, let's be honest. I don't think the coaching staff at OSU is worried about having to play second or third string guys against us.
My apologies if this has already been posted, but this is a great write up on Coleman Hawkins. I liked him before but definitely have a larger soft spot for him now.
The long game: Hoops upbringing prepares Hawkins for B1G role
I think we're on the same side here. I posted that to show that the idea of immunity after the fact is questionable because we don't know for certain.
Some people test positive for a long time, but there are also cases of people testing negative then positive again. Just because a team has it...
There's no evidence that it does provide immunity though. Not the way other diseases do. Screenshot taken from the University of Maryland.
That's fair, but how much do any of us really get from a one minute highlight? That's the case whether it's one minute highlights from a game or practice. If OP really wants to break down highlights or film and go over the x's and o's, then they need to get access to actual film not whatever...
Why can't they be both? And honestly, the majority of fans don't care about breaking down film of practice. They're producing for the majority, not those of us who obsessively follow the team and worry about the Xs and Os.
You know that these are also recruiting tools, right? Most of the kids we recruit like hip-hop and want to imagine themselves in a slick highlight video. It's why most if the high school highlight videos are also heavily edited and feature a hip-hop soundtrack.
