    Illini Basketball 2019-2020

This will be nice to see, but I'm most excited to see a roster full of returning athletes. We've had so many guys transfer, suspended, kicked off, etc the last several years. It will be nice to get some consistency.

Top ten in FT attempts?! I'm not great at finding stats. Where did last years team finish in freethrow attempts? IMO, it seems like we've had a huge increase in layups and good attempts around the rim this year. The last several years you had a few guys who could get to the line if they wanted...

Agreed, but you forgot the part where everyone says that the crystal balls don't mean anything since they aren't for us.

I think we all understand that the class would not be number 1, but what I'm interested in is to see how many top 25(ish) classes we can string together in a row. Last year 247 had us at number 30. We don't have to hit top 5 or even top 10 so long as we are having solid recruiting year in and...

Definitely outmatched in this one. I'm interested to see how the defense responds.

That's how I took it as well. My wife is a PT and said that generally it takes about 12 weeks for an ACL tear to get to the point where they can return to jogging and about 16 weeks for jumping. Of course everyone's recovery can vary.

I honestly didn't think we'd get them all. I thought we'd miss on 1, maybe 2. I'm super excited that the coaches were able to keep them all on board. :illinois:

Agreed. We don't have to have a guy from Chicago. We need a guy who can build relationships. We also just need to win. Winning fixes everything.

Brad Underwood Named Illini Basketball Coach

Agreed. I also think many were overestimating the perception of the UI job. I'm not saying our program is a bad get, but we're a long way from where we used to be. If things go well with Underwood I would imagine the next time we are looking for a coach we could seriously be considered by...
