Agreed. When we play the token trap up top, all it takes is one pass to beat it and they either have a wide-open 3 in the corner or the help defense covers that guy and he kicks it to the man under the bucket. With this team, we either have to trap that up top hard or just play straight up...

I believe Robbie Hummel was the one that wanted the offer. Pretty sure Moore had an offer, but Illinois stopped recruiting him once Gordon committed. IIRC would have had a really good shot at Moore too.

I said something similar on a different forum. A lot of the same mannerisms and although not quite the freak athlete that Meyers was, he is still a really good athlete. Much more polished offensively and defensively at the same stage as Meyers too.

It's more that they haven't showed that they can stop our run, so why pass it in that situation? I expect a 3 passes and a punt now.
