A lot of talk about our pick and roll coverages, including me. One thing not being discussed is the Ohio screeners reading the Illini defensive setup and flipping the screen side/angle at the last minute. A well timed adjustment on the screening angle will stress most pick and roll coverages...
I started thinking the same thing. We really didn’t do much. Since we start conference so quickly, I could see him wanting to just game rep the basics more than anything.
At least this is what I’m telling myself.
Somebody on Reddit said that you should be required to announce it for a future season so players can have the chance to use their transfer and so recruits can know before they sign.
That makes too much sense so you know the ncaa will never do it.
I haven’t watched Ohio State yet this year, and as I always say my football eye is not refined, so I have some questions.
1) how good are they really?
2) how much better are they than us at different positions? I know they’re future nfl guys, but how does that look and translate to the field...
