If we lose this game or if this game is really close, I see this as (at best) a four win season. If we win convincingly, I am breaking out the orange Kool-Aid. Hate to put so much emphasis on one game, but I think it is warranted in this case.

You mean “when he has a 1000 yard season this year,” we will attract more wide receiver prospects. Based on what he did last year with an inferior offensive scheme, I can’t imagine him not having one of the best wide receiver seasons in recent Illini history.

Everything in recruiting is a concern. They will continue to recruit all players until they sign on the dotted line.

I know that we are still on the outside looking in at the bluebloods, but it is amazing that at least one from another fanbase puts us in already.

I am normally not a conspiracy theorist, but it’s hard not to imagine that refs often have an agenda beyond calling a fair game. Whether the agenda is their own or given to them, I just don’t know. They don’t get to the NBA or college games without a reasonably fair degree of competency. To...

If Coleman can be the player we all thought he could be, this year’s team could be scary good.

If he could’ve coached, we would’ve never gotten him away from Florida. He would’ve won multiple national championships there.

This just has the feel of a recruiting Battle that I don’t expect us to win and then my fears are confirmed. I really hope I am wrong.
