I know the fit, etc., all appears to be in our favor with Holyfield. In any case, I have a hard time getting really excited with our past history of grad transfers. I don't feel that any of them have lived up to the expectation.
In comparing last year to this year, I look at this...
Last year's team was 14-18, and won all the games they were supposed to, lost all the games they were supposed to. No real surprises.
This year's team was 11-21, won some games they should have, and lost some they shouldn't have...
Was in the building. Pretty disappointing effort from the fans in attendance, I would guess 11-12k. But those that were there, were pretty quiet during the first half, with little reaction to a 25-point halftime lead.
So if we wanted him back, he has to sit a year for a school that has no bearing on our season at all.
But since we gave a special blessing to MS, we can allow him to play this year, for a team that we are a direct rival of?
I just can't quite fathom that as being real.
