Looking back at some of those games... blasts from the past. I nearly forgot about that Riley O’Toole performance against NW.
for I.Williams, not too bad for his first start. We need to harness that talent. It will make us better. Rod, you better start scheming for NEB.
I’m both frustrated and encouraged. I think IW could be a decent qb as a dual threat but Rod is just soo terrible. His play calls have been a mess today. The defense...well... looks as bad as it ever has. It would be a miracle if we kept it close.
This is interesting. It sort of reminds me of the Beckman/Campbell situation. We took the guy with the initial success and he flopped meanwhile Campbell is doing great things at Iowa state. Heupel definitely has my attention.
I think I read somewhere last weekend that the cubs laid off 100 front end staffers due to overall budget cuts. I haven't seen the cardinals announce cuts like that but I wouldn't be surprised they are running on a slimmer budget.
Right now, I’m not expecting waino, Yadi or Wong to be on the club next year. They are trying to free up cash (which I don’t totally get, I thought we had cap space?). Mo said that he botched the Arrozarena trade and will do a better job of evaluating players within the club. He also said...
I don’t expect a win up there, but, I do expect us to look competent, prepared, and organized. Keep it close, maybe lose by one score. I’m excited to see how Brandon Peters plays. Seems like he’s made some strides in the offseason and could surprise some teams.
I think I’d overpay. He’s still got some pop in the bat and really does command a great game from behind the plate. I am really curious how this season would have gone if Covid hadn’t shaken everything up. We had so much young talent that needed time to gel. Having a mature veteran could pay...
