Bonnaroo Land
SIU playing UK close and losing only 31-28 at the half.

And in a game featuring 3 Illini defectors versus 3 former targets, Iowa St leads Mizzery 4-25 at the half.

Didn’t see him play. Who on our team would he play ahead of?

Hard to say. He can play the 2-4 and even PG in an emergency. He’s the type of player you just have to find a way to get on the court. On our team he would certainly play over Tev Jones and would keep Kipper on the bench when Kipper’s head isn’t in the game.

Tilmon actually is a pretty good passer out of the double team when his team mates get open. Cuonzo just doesn’t know how to scheme around his best player.

Mark Smith recovered nicely from what started out as a poor shooting night.
What would have been our (at most) 4th best guard is so far one of their better producers - good thing he got some quality coaching before he arrived there ;)

Didn't watch the game, so not sure the cause but looks like he had 5 TOs. Not having Jontay clearly allows alot of focus on him.

25 total MU Team TOs  while ISU only had 7... hmmmm

THT got low double digits and mostly off of free throws against Mizzou....Smith outscored him...Conditt got nothing...man he would have helped here, hope they both get what they wanted at ISU!

Wonder how MS would characterize the difference in practices at Mizzo and Illinois????

JG'ish perhaps? Again, didn't see the game, but the folks on Tigerboard who did were complaining that the team seemed soft. Yes, they lost a draft pick for the season, but doesn't explain the rest.

Toughness doesn’t require physical talent.
