Are we maybe overrating Kofis draft-ibility this year, based solely on the fact we haven't had a dominant 5 in like 15 years? We've had guys who've done one or two things well, but Kofi is the traditional 5.
Not trying to say Kofi isn't going to get drafted, but maybe it feels like he's a lottery pick to some of us because we just haven't seen someone like him in such a long time. I watch a decent amount of CBB, but the Illini account for probably 50% of that, and no other team gets even close to that.
If Kofi keeps up the way he's playing, I don't see any reason he should stay. Maybe he doesn't make an NBA roster, but he's a guy who could easily see the floor in Europe for a long time.
