3/22 Games

Never thought WI would be the first B1G team out. Only saw a few min in the first half. But they looked out of sorts at both ends. Seemed more like an off day more than Oregon pushing the issue. Again, only saw a few minutes.

I picked Wisconsin and OSU as the only B1G losers in the round of 64. Counting on TNT to improve his draft stock against the Buckeyes.

Iona up 8 on NC with 3 to go in the first half. Funny what happens this time of year.
Am sure NC will wake up in the 2nd half...

Don’t jinx it. Just act like UNC is going to blow them out this half, we know good enough what getting hopes up does to us Illini fans lol

Iowa City
THT make the trip to Tulsa with ISU? This is an ugly game.

SEVEN Big 10 teams in the final 32. Not too shabby.

OMG, I cant even imagine how long that took to put together. Thats alot of hours of cropping Bruce's face. As an Illinois fan, I find it hilarious that it was Bruce as the white knight and Bill Self as the Villain. That is priceless! The only thing that it was missing is the Lon Kruger cameo.

I don't think THT improved his stock. I really don't understand how teams would be willing to overlook his crappy stats just because physically he's a freak of sorts. Sure, but it doesn't really translate to the game as best I can tell.

I know, he's young. I highly doubt he comes out.

I think he has the potential to be a great player, but not at the NBA level. Will probably make a lot of money playing overseas someday.

Big Ten ends up going 7-1 in the first round. 7 teams still playing ties a record set by the Big East in 2008 and 2011 for most teams from one conference in the 2nd round.
I hope it continues, but frankly most of the B10 was not playing its best ball at the end of the season. I hope we get can get one in the FF.

Disappointed to see KState go down. Absent the Fighting Illini to pull for they were the one team I was hoping to see advance. They had a good year but, obviously a letdown after their tournament run last year.

Seems like Weber’s teams have a habit of losing to lower seeds in 1st round. UC-Irvine, Lasalle, Western KY come to mind.

I agree, but Wade was a big loss. His teams typically are low scoring and that often doesn’t play well in tourney action where one hot shooting night by the opponents and you go home.
