Well that's probably one of the worst first halves I've seen Mitch throwing the ball this season. The Bears D thus far has been able to have a much bigger impact and is gonna need to keep that up in the 2nd half the way things are going.

Well it wasn't pretty, especially with the offense, but the Bears get a HUGE win over a really good Rams team. Offense still has a ways to go but this defense proved that it can hang with and beat anyone in the league.

And if the Vikings lose in Seattle tomorrow night, then the Bears can clinch the NFC North next Sunday at home vs. Green Bay.

That was a real good offense the Bears just stoned.

If the Vikings can’t beat the Seahawks in Seattle tomorrow, the division is basically over.

Goff was really bad. Bears D put him under pressure all night.

OTOH Trubisky missed a lot of easy throws. I realize he's rusty but he's gotta do better in the playoffs.

nice to be excited about Da Bears again!

Pretty sure the conditions made it hard to move the ball in the air. Both QBs looked rough. Both place kickers missed one. Definitely some bad throws and the Rams' holder screwed the kicker, but lots of balls were bouncing in the air.
Would really rather play the Rams or Saints in Chicago during the playoffs, but that sadly won't be happening.

The thing is though, the wind wasn't really a factor at all last night.

The Vikings lost to the Seahawks last night, so the Bears' lead in the North is 2.5 games with 3 to go.

Question for group, if playoff position for the Bears is locked up before wk 17, but the Vikings are in position #6, do you rest players, or try to knock them out of the playoffs, before they start? They can be a dangerous team, despite last nights showing.

In the 2010 season, Bears had the division wrapped up, Packers needed the win to make the playoffs. Bears played very conservative and lost 10-3.

Packers win their first two playoff games, Bears get a bye and beat the Seahawks. Packers beat the Bears in the NFC Championship and win the Super Bowl.

Always eliminate your division rivals when you have a chance.

Agree. Beat them now so you don’t have to beat them later.

That said, I think there’s a strong likelihood that the game is meaningless for both teams, with the Bears locked into the #3 and Vikings locked into the #6. If that’s the case, don’t let anyone get hurt and don’t commit anything to tape you don’t want anyone to see on tape.
