Big Ten / ACC Challenge

B1G/ACC Challenge
This event doesn't seem to have anywhere near the hype that it used to, but I still enjoy it.
Two games yesterday, split with Nebraska beating Clemson but Boston College handled Minnie.
Today there are six games, with the Illini being one of them.
Tomorrow there are six more.
As usual, the network gives the ACC an advantage by not requiring their worst school, Wake Forest, to play.

Let's go Big Ten !!

I figure this was the best place to post.

If you haven’t watched Duke yet to date. Do yourself a favor. Barrett and Zion maybe two of the most dynamic freshman to play college basketball in a while.

On a side note- as a Illini fan and a Bradley fan. Since BU beat Penn State and PSU lost to Bradley last week. Bradley is a top 12 or so team?

Yes they are. And they should beat us by 30 but we’ll play them even till the 32 minute mark, go down by 14 and stage a late furious comeback which will come up just short.

Don't worry, we will be more competitive next year. Or the year after...

Northeastern is just throttling Georgia Tech, now up 25 in the second half. New building looks better too.
Purdue trying to come back on fsu, now within 4.
Michigan probably doing ok but with dick V yelling the game I just can't go there before I have to

In the final game of the series, with the B1G up 6-5, Purdue sort of chokes.
:15 seconds left, up 1 and they try to hug the ball, expecting a foul to be called.
Instead, it is a possession arrow turnover to FSU, who goes down and scores to win the game.
Series tied, 6-6
Ugh

9 of the games were decided by less than 10 points.
4 of them were by 2 or less points.

Largest B1G margin of victory was #7 Michigan over #11 North Carolina by 17.
Largest ACC margin of victory was #3 Duke over unranked Indiana by 21.

Plus, don't forget the two missed free throws. Stupid Purdue.
