Championship Weekend Thread

Championship weekend begins tonight. Two championship games being played this evening:

-6:00 PM, ESPN2: NIU vs. Buffalo (MAC Championship Game at Ford Field in Detroit) #MACtion
-7:00 PM, FOX: #17 Utah vs. #11 Washington (Pac-12 Championship Game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA)

I'll post the remainder of the championship weekend schedule later tonight.

NIU defeated Buffalo 30-29 to win the MAC Championship game.

Washington defeated Utah 10-3 in the Pac-12 Championship game. Game had zero offensive TDs as the lone TD was scored on a pick six late in the 3rd quarter.

For those who remember the Pont/Venturi era it's pretty crazy to see NU in the title game albeit 40 years ago.

Not very impressed by OU today.

OSU still has a chance today. They'll need to obliterate NU and have Alabama win fairly easily, but I think both are reasonable and probably should be expected.

EDIT: And as soon as I post this, Tua goes down hard...well then.
