Huge win; huge loss.
Not sure how this bullpen is going to keep it together.
Nor do I, but Edwards Jr. getting back to his old self would be a start.

Glad to see that the makeshift bullpen held the Reds to 0 runs. You're right on the spot, let's get some darn runs and have a nice, boring blowout victory!Bullpen is 1 for 1 post-Strop. We need a few blowouts to mitigate the impact of the loss, though.
Let's get some RUUUUUUUUUNS!!!!
Back to a 2.5 game lead after the Milwaukee loss tonight. Looks like the magic number for division title is 12 (for playoffs it would be 9) with 14 games remaining.
Phoenix elevation is only about 1,100 feet so not much help there.Tough loss today. Where has the offense gone? Hopefully the elevation at Arizona will help the bats wake up.
Brewers lose again; magic number down to 11.
It’s almost as if the every day players look tired after 27 straight days without a day off.
Sounds ridiculous. Obviously not the norm, but on average how many rest days do teams get? It's about 1 a week isn't it?40 games in 41 days, if I remember correctly.

The early season weather (and the numbnuts who did the scheduling, not giving more early season games to southern and dome teams) .
Except the southern/dome teams don't want mid-week games in April. No team does. Unless, of course, MLB will give them some cash to make up the difference from a summer game.
The magic number is 10.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a game end on a caught stealing.
