They finished 2016 ranked 14th in the nation, with a top 10 defense.

We all know why he got fired at UF. He’s going to have to answer for that and if the response isn’t good enough for Missouri, he won’t get the job. That’s more than fair.
I guess I'll be the dumb one. I don't know why he got fired. Enlighten me, please?

Who do you want mizzou to avoid as head coach (realistically)? The only name that I want them to avoid is McElwain. Their top candidates of Blake Anderson, Willie Fritz, and Jay Norvell don't scare me at all. McElwain is a really good coach who got a raw deal at florida IMO.

Both Leach and Kiffin would not cultivate the culture that Sterk wants to build upon. If the dude at Washington gets stressed out in the northwest, I doubt he would be any more relaxed in the midwest.

I don't get the knocks on coaches with strong personalities when the point is to stand out.

It's a lot easier for people to get along when you win.

I have a hard time not believing Norvell isnt gonna be at FSU as soon as their conference game is over

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Eight days after firing football coach Barry Odom, Missouri has his replacement: Appalachian State's Eliah Drinkwitz. Missouri and Drinkwitz agreed to terms for the 36-year-old to become the Tigers' next head coach on Sunday, pending approval of the UM System Board of Curators, a university source confirmed Sunday night.

After Mizzou officials flew to North Carolina on Saturday to interview Drinkwitz, the Tigers had familiar competition for the Mountaineers coach, according to multiple reports. Arkansas was also hot after the offensive specialist, but later Sunday afternoon the Razorbacks made the surprising decision to hire Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman. That seemed to accelerate Missouri's move to land the Arkansas native.

Mike Norvell making a big move already. Getting his old OC back from Auburn to join him at FSU, Kenny Dillingham

Ricky Rahne to Old Dominion, Jeff Scott to South Florida. Two solid hires for Group of 5 programs.

COLUMBIA, Mo. — New Missouri football coach Eliah Drinkwitz's six-year contract will pay him a guaranteed salary of $4 million a year, a source with knowledge of the contract confirmed Monday. Further details will be available when the contract is formally approved and released Tuesday.

Drinkwitz was making $750,000 as the head coach at Appalachian State. His buyout for leaving App State was approximately $1.735 million.

With just one year of head-coaching experience, Drinkwitz will make more than Mizzou’s next-highest paid coach, men’s basketball’s Cuonzo Martin, whose guaranteed salary this year is $2.9 million.

Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss just seems like a match made in Heaven.
I saw a video yesterday of him on twitter holding a fan's baby while someone other fan told him "hey getcha a burner phone"
