Everton drew 2:2 at Bournemouth in a match that featured both sides finishing with 10 men. Richarlison was sent off late in the 1st half after headbutting a Bournemouth player and Bournemouth had a player sent off in the 61st minute. Everton's goals were scored in the 2nd half by Theo Walcott and Michael Keane. The match actually ended up having 13 minutes of stoppage time due to an injury Keane suffered late that saw him being taken off on a stretcher.

Toffees will host Huddersfield Town next Saturday.

ICYMI - Tottemham handed Jose Mourinho his worst ever home loss yesterday in a 3-0 thrashing of Manchester United at Old Trafford. Harry Kane opened the scoring and Lucas Moura added his 2nd and 3rd goals of the season to seal the victory for Spurs.

Hey Gents, haven't visited this thread before, but as a longtime soccer fan it's nice to see some Illini/Premier League overlap. As a Fulham fan for the last 15 years or so (we back, baby), I'm curious who everyone supports? I see an Arsenal fan. Who else is represented?

Is there a movie on this flight?

Gunners fan. But definitely a strong Fulham supporter, ever since McBride played for them. Like the Cherries and have a lot of respect for Man City/Pep. Very happy Fulham got promoted and sincerely hope they stay up. Looking good, so far.

Chelsea fan here. Fulham has always had a soft spot in my heart due to the handful of Americans that have played for them. Good to see them back up and Craven Cottage is a cool ground. Hopefully Tim Ream can get healthy and back into the starting XI.

Champions League draw is at noon today. Man City is in Pot 1, Spurs and United in Pot 2, and Liverpool is at risk for the group of death in Pot 3. No EPL teams can end up in the same group.

Spurs have a fun group. Tough enough to make it interesting but should get through rather comfortably. Ronaldo going back to Old Trafford is juicy. Fun group for Liverpool as well. I think all 4 English teams get through. But I'm also assuming United start to play better.

Champions League is always fun. The knockout stage is where most of the action is though.

Just really enjoying the EPL. Everyone has their favorites, but love the intensity and that the cream of the league runs 6 deep. No other league comes close.

Everton drew 1:1 at home with Huddersfield Town today in a fairly meh match. The one highlight of the match was Lucas Digne debuting for the Toffees and assisting on the goal scored by Dominic Calvert-Lewin shortly after Huddersfield Town had taken the lead.

Everton return to action after next week's international break hosting West Ham United on September 16th.

ha! could go either way at this point. they have plenty of talent on that team. however, in his last-last-year at chelsea jose took them down to 10th and he wasn't even managing the whole year. plus they won the league the following year so it wasn't due to lack of talent.

Everton lose 1:3 at home to West Ham United in a disappointing performance for the Toffees against a West Ham side that had yet to win a match this season. Sigurdsson scored the only goal for Everton just before halftime to bring them to within 1:2 but no Richarlison showed its effects in this match.

Everton travels to the Emirates next Sunday to take on Arsenal.

I’ve always kind of made fun of Giroud to my Arsenal fans because Arsenal was always in transfer talks with forwards while he was there. But he’s been great for Chelsea so far. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather have a Suarez, Lukaku, Aguero, or Kane but after those elite guys Giroud is right there. He does all the little things and fits well in Sarriball.

 i miss him. i think he acted a little too hastily in moving during the january window but i understand he needed more consistent playing time before the world cup. i'm actually surprised he's still there as i assumed he would move in the summer.

Everton lose 2:0 at Arsenal today. Lot better effort from the Toffees today though I'm sure having Richarlison and Keane back helped with that. Of course can't do much with the performance Cech had in goal today either. Both Gunners goals were scored within a 3 minute stretch in the 2nd half.

Toffees host Fulham next Saturday.
