Everton lost at Burnley 1:0. Lone goal was scored in the 72nd minute with the Toffees down a man. 4th straight defeat for Everton and it wouldn't surprise me if Marco Silva was sacked during the upcoming international break.

Everton returns to action vs. West Ham United on October 19th.

Pulisic sighting! And a beautiful assist!

Still too early to say the title race is done and dusted, but City have to be pretty much perfect from here on. And they have to beat Liverpool twice. A draw will not be good enough.

But I would be pretty surprised if the top 4 race doesn't come down to the final day.

Everton finally breaks their 4 match Premier League losing streak today, defeating West Ham United 2:0. Goals by Bernard and Sigurdsson, who incidentally did not start come on until late in the match and scored his goal in stoppage time in the 2nd half. It's the first Premier League win for the Toffees since September 1st and their first clean sheet since August 18th and it likely saves Marco Silva's job for another week.

Everton returns to action next Saturday at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Arsenal is a mess. Xhaka walking off the pitch and the Emirates booing him was cringe-worthy.

But Pulisic is looking better by the game and Chelsea is rolling!

Liverpool might have won the league today. Can't see anyone catching them at this point.

Saw a stat that Sheffield have gone 60 games without losing by more than 1. There defense is something serious and they've scored some timely goals this season. Can they keep it up?

Fun fact: Since the start of the Premier League, their has never been a season where Man United, Arsenal, and Spurs all finish outside the top 4.

It's basically an inevitability at this point.
An interesting point I read elsewhere, LFC has played all 6 of the other 7 teams currently at the top of the table and gone 5-1-0. MC has played only LFC among the current leaders so that will balance out going to the half way mark of the season. Another key factor is the 10 matches scheduled in Dec. for LFC and how much of a toll that month takes on the team. LFC is obviously in an enviable position but the season has a long way to go.

Spurs name Jose Mourinho as new manager. I guess we need to go buy a bus and learn how to park it properly.
