Bad scheduling. Totally ran out of gas and not surprising. They will learn a ton from this game, and we have a really good team. Period.

Cold second half for us. Mannion might be better than any player in the big ten. True road game against what sure looks like a top 15 team.

We’re 2-1 after the first week. Exactly where we needed to be to stay on pace for making the tourney.

Oh, and our second game in 50 hours and it’s against a more talented team.

Nothing to stress about here.

We are so sloppy with the ball. Can't gift your opponent 20+ turnovers and expect to beat a decent team.

That said, I'm confident we'll get better with the ball.

Mannion is light years ahead of Ayo. Just the tight handles and ability to get to his spots alone are night and day.

You certainly can't turn it over 20+ times, while also allowing your opponent to shoot 60% from the field.

The good: We will be an NCAA team, we will be a Top 5 B1G team by end of year...

The bad, AZ has a lottery PG, we "might" have a 1st rd'er....AZ has another 1st rd'er, we do not. Trent and Andre are doing there parts. Ayo has moments, just not NBA moments so far, and Giorgi has taken steps backwards with new role away from hoop, and Kofi is oddly fragile with the ball in his hands when needing to make a move. Kipper, well minutes, Griffin heady, but slow shot, and Williams is having a very bad game.

About what we should have expected on the road in hostile arena against a school we have history against.....We will be just fine by conference time.

I mean, wins are always nice, but how many of us actually expected to leave the desert 3-0?

Learn the lessons from this game and move on.
It's not that for me. It's the disappointment that we are not closer to AZ who is a 15-20 ranked team.

Not all guys mature the same.
U of A with 8 new guys on their team and playing like that. Their guards are as good as ours and the bigs contributed much more. Our guys have had trouble in TO's in the first 3 games.

Hope like heck you are right, but still seeing too much of old IL habits.

Actually, I think it's fantastic scheduling. Just as well see where we are at and we played on a Friday/Sunday schedule....the same format used in the first weekend of the NCAAs.

BU has legitimate game tape to use vs a really good opponent and he has a reference point to a quick turnaround scenario.

Their "Guard" is better than ours.
