This team is just a poor shooting team. It's not an anomaly at this point. Causes horrible offensive sequences.
Watching the game taped....after 2 minutes of play I cannot imagine the Illini losing by less than 30. They simply are not ready to match the energy of MSU.

Per usual, this thread is hilarious
NO one for the Illini has ever been an elite shooter like Winston....however several are far more willing to shoot which gives MSU the advantage. Shooting is the major and most important skill of the game and our guys don't do it well. They do some things well that do not show up on the scoreboard though.
Ayo really looks like he's developed a more mature feel for the game. Has really picked his spots well so far as when to attack. Smart decision making driving to the rack off the weave a little while ago, and I likes how he emerged from scoring the And 1 with the Skeletor face on. Like, "look at these teeth, b******. Calcium b******!!"
