He’s also got a lot of leeway. Watch those plays back, outside of the Hobbs TD where he never got his head around each WR has multiple steps on the defender. We’re just flat out letting guys run by us.

And it needs to stop, because our season is over if we lose this game. Bottom line.

It'll be interesting to see if Lovie can make any effective defensive adjustments. EMU's coach is doing a good job of adjusting on defense already.

Rod Smith needs to teach Peters how to identify a blitz....this exact situation happened in the last game when they were showing blitz and Peters had no idea the guy was coming free. And (unlike what J Leman said, it wasn't his blind side!). You NEED to identify the formation and make sure you account for the guy!
