Seems everyone thinks that's a clean hit and a fumble. On the initial look, I was skeptical as to both.

If everyone else is right, good football play. Hope the receiver is okay.

Clean hit - just not sure about the fumble

edit - take that back - last view was clear fumble.

I honestly don't eve know what targeting is any more. Is it any tackle where your helmet makes contact with the ball carriers helmet? They were talking like the D-linemen could have been flagged for targeting as well.
There are two main types of targeting. The first one is hitting anyone anywhere with the crown of the helmet. The second one is hitting a defenseless player in the head or neck area (and it doesn't have to be hitting with the helmet). An example of a defenseless player is a receiver who hasn't turned into a runner.
