Can someone please explain our defensive strategy?
Pressure the ball and create turnovers. Have a great rim protector or two at the back to clean up the mess.
We have the former, we do not have the latter.

Can someone please explain our defensive strategy? It appears to be, collapse to the ball when it enters the paint and leave your man open for the dunk. Over and over again.
It seems like there's still some Groce in him. Outside of that stretch I thought he had a decent overall game.Kipper just made losing play after losing play in winning time. Can’t overcome that.
56%they had any layup they wanted, no change at all on defense, no adjustments. Did they end up shooting 65%? Wouldn’t be surprised.
Of course we lose a game we need without our best player. Just our luck. Watch this game haunt us come March.
1 for 2 on free throws. 0 for 4 on field goals. Played 23 minutes, so not much to show. What did AJ do this game? Did he even score?
It’s clear neither one of you know what you’re talking about or what you’re watching. This team is playing it’s second real game together without our best player on the floor.I second this.
Told one of my coworkers today that I hoped Kipper would posterize McDung. Boy was I wrong. How do you play him after that? Let alone not even take him out.

I don't want to hear it. Nothing is different until we win basketball games, period.
Including today, he's played two college games. Same for quite a few of them.Except that Ayo played no defense.
He played some serious defense, rebounded and banged against theirs bigs when him and DaMonte were needed to step up against bigger players. They were routinely matched up against 6-6 or taller in Leblanc and Mourning.1 for 2 on free throws. 0 for 4 on field goals. Played 23 minutes, so not much to show.
It's clear you have no idea what a functional good defense looks like. It's the same as it was last year. It’s clear neither one of you know what you’re talking about or what you’re watching. This team is playing it’s second real game together without our best player on the floor.
4 or 5 wins in the B1G. If that's your idea of better in the long run.
Anybody that thinks we don't need a solid Kipper making smart plays is clueless.
