Strange, I watched the replay on YTTV today. It was in my library.MSU, OSU, NW, & IA games on FS1/2 are all available for re-watch for me on the Fox Sports app per usual, however no Illini game in sight. The Illini game, which is dutifully showing up in my YTTV library and marked as "watched" (I watched live, so?) does NOT playback. In fact, clicking on the game freezes the entire YTTV app. I haven't yet quite figured out how this unique approach by BTN enhances the B!G fan experience.
Akron shows in the library and the UConn, EMU, & Wisc games are "upcoming", but I have no playback for Akron. It is indeed strange.Strange, I watched the replay on YTTV today. It was in my library.
Side N0te: Nice thing about YTTV is you can pick your team(s) and team sport(s) and it will automatically record any game that shows up.
Not to derail the thread by I've found YTTV's customer support outstanding. If you haven't you might give them a try.Akron shows in the library and the UConn, EMU, & Wisc games are "upcoming", but I have no playback for Akron. It is indeed strange.
I found the opposite, but I guess it depends on the issue or need. Not to derail the thread by I've found YTTV's customer support outstanding. If you haven't you might give them a try.
Sorry to hear that - I've called probably 1/2 dozen times about things - mostly minor - and they have been very good. I was actually talking to someone in the US who actually knew the system. Guess when compared to either Comcast or Verizon - ANY decent, knowledgable CSR is a breath of fresh air - so the bar was very low. The one thing I learned is that the BTN overflow channels don't show up in the guide when they are not airing - only when something was on. Who knew?I found the opposite, but I guess it depends on the issue or need.

Not a direct answer, but I added Illinois football to my library so I can access the game at my discretion. The game shows on my home screen automatically and when I delay my personal start time allows for fast forwarding through, uh, slower parts. So, if the overflow channels never show up in the guide and only show up WHEN they are broadcasting, how can you find them?
Sorry, missed this earlier. You can go online to see the entire line up - or when you are in the Guide, you can scroll to the left - highlight the BTN, hit enter and it then takes you to upcoming shows on all BTN channels. So, if the overflow channels never show up in the guide and only show up WHEN they are broadcasting, how can you find them?
Our Dish network has a message on our old BTN channel that says: “Fox is asking for an unreasonable price increase that we feel is unfair for DISH customers. We appreciate your patience while we continue to work with them to bring your channel back.”Just heard on Fox that Sling and Dish has dropped BTN? Sling and Dish users - true?

Their website gives different viewing options. I just finished the trial period and was disappointed with the performance. I had my laptop connected to a dumb TV. I was trying to watch the recorded Nebraska game, but the picture would constantly freeze while the audio continued. Funny thing is I had no problems with regular old YouTube, and my internet was "very fast" according to the speed test. But the biggest issue is no Hallmark channel. (Happy wife, happy life.)Looks like I'll be dropping Dish due to lack of BTN, FS1 and FS2.
Going to go with YTTV. Question is YTTV is a app on your phone so do you have to be able to cast the stream from your phone to the TV via Chromecast or Firestik type device?

I believe you have to log in with your cable or satellite provider with that app. But let us know if you don't mind. I know we aren't the only two here looking to meld sports and Hallmark channel. New* Christmas movies start in October! And, yes, my wife and daughter start watching them then. This was an issue with me as well but in looking you can download a Hallmark app and view via a Chromecast or Apple TV type device. Will test it out tonight.

Your best option is a Roku, if your tv does not support smart TV apps natively. Walmart has them on clearance right now as well. Check out slickdeals for more info. Premiere+ for 30 is pretty good.Looks like I'll be dropping Dish due to lack of BTN, FS1 and FS2.

agree with the Roku stick or Ultra options for viewing. Stick is nice because you can take it with you if you want.Looks like I'll be dropping Dish due to lack of BTN, FS1 and FS2.
