Illini bars in STL?

Can't make it to Champaign on Sat for NC game but would like to watch with some Illini fans - lil help

I'll be in Houston next week for the Bears game. Anybody aware of an Illini friendly bar I could hit up for the UNC game?

Great question... I will be down there for a bachelor party the weekend we play Western Michigan and would love to catch the game if possible.

I don't think there is a set bar. The Greater Austin Illini Club moves around a bit it seems. Most of the time at Third Base but can't really count on it. They have a FB page showing where the games are shown.

I've never been, but 3rd base downtown on 6th near mopac is what I was always told.

Austin: Thirsty Nickel had huge watch parties for Bears and Blackhawks. Haymaker and Black Sheep also good for Blackhawks as well as Cubs (management from Chicago).

I have to go to Vegas for a conference this week - anyone know if there's an active Illini club and/or common spot for gamewatches?

LOL... I went to their website, and the last entry - for a happy hour btw - is for Aug 8, 2015.... So I'm guessing that the interest is sparse....

Apparently, if you would like to be the Las Vegas club president, the position is open. Guessing that means that they are not very organized at present.

I just moved from Vegas after living there the past year..Sportsbook is going to be your best bet.

Moved to Phoenix about a month ago and the Illini Club here seems to be a bit more active.

Anyone know of any Illinois bars in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area? Took a look at the Philadelphia Illini Club site, did not see any recent events besides an upcoming one for the game at Rutgers.

They tend to send out all of the watch party info via email vs. posting on the website. They are having a watch party for the WMU game this week at Buckley's in Queen Anne.

Queen Anne ? ? I thought that was in British Columbia.... lol....

So is the game on TV? Can't have a 'watch' party if the game isn't on TV...:eek:
