Barring injury, or some ridiculous chain of events, DMFW will start every regular season game next year.
Agree but am hoping it is at the 3 rather than the 4. Losing Dre and Ayo makes his defense even more important.

Have we yet re-established the odds of Kofi and Ayo returning for 2020-21? I'll go on record:

Kofi: 75%
Ayo: 35%

Kofi back in orange & blue places us in pre-season Top 30. Ayo and Kofi back puts us in pre-season Top 10.

I think if Ayo and Kofi were to return Illini would be favored over Iowa to win the Big10.

They’ll definitely need to improve 3 point shooting especially with the loss of Griffin. I think that projects to be their Achilles heel. Would be nice though if they could get a few guys in the 35-40% range.

For the sake of argument, assuming both return, chance they decide to pressure more on D with deeper bench?

I think Coleman could be a real sleeper and contribute more than expected this year. Just seems to have a swagger that will translate well for him.
Saw very little of his game in the couple videos I watched, and haven't seen him live. In other words, my opinion isn't even worth a grain of salt, ,let alone to be taken with one. That said, I didn't think he would be in the lineup as a freshman, and wonder why there isn't more talk of BBV competing with DMW. Thought they liked him quite a bit before his injury.

there are four guaranteed starters next year. Trent Frazier
Adam Miller
Damonte Williams
Kofi Cockburn

the fifth is a toss up.
I completely agree with the caveat that if Ayo returns he'd obviously slot in at that 5th starting spot.

Assuming Ayo's gone the 5th starter is most likely to be Grandison, Curbelo, or Giorgi with less likely options being Hutcherson, Verdonk, or Hawkins. It might be a match-up decision and rotate throughout the year or one of those players may clinch the 5th starting role for a majority of the season.

I understand what you're saying and might not be remembering properly, but I thought that BU liked to put his team out there and let the other guys match up with us.

May well vary as the season progresses.

Trent is my favorite player but there IS a reason he won't be Feliz and it's about 35lbs.
I understand what you mean, but I was referring to his ability to provide a scoring spark, not his ability to rebound and be physical.

That's because Coleman Hawkins has got some serious game! I watched him live and he looked very good!

Betting on Giorgi early on but probably less important than the eight man rotation. Anyone willing to bet a beach house on that rotation? Giorgi and Curbelo definite but a mystery to me after that.
