Great point. Bottomline Kent State was only competitive in this game because Illinois allowed them to. Kent State has been one of the worst teams in college football for several years and just because they lost a close game to a 2 win team from a year ago doesn't necessarily mean the arrow is pointing up.

That's the type of analysis the author of that article uses. While you're rehashing last year, the rest of us saw much improved play at quarterback from a year ago and a KSU qb who, quite frankly, I wish was wearing orange and blue (not Auburn's).
