A summer isn’t a whole lot of time to learn a new playbook and compete for a job....so why not go to a school where you already know the playbook and won the starting job as soon as you committed?per RedCup news Matt Stockman, as to potential spots he goes to :
Auburn
Oklahoma
Boise State
Florida
Illinois
As of right now, Illinois appears to be the top landing spot for Tate. He would be able to start right away with the keys to the offense, and would be joined by former OC Rod Smith who propelled Tate to one of the best statistical seasons in CFB history.

Auburn doesn’t run a complex offense. That’s why heyve had success with transfer qbs in the past.
there is ALWAYS a spot on any given team if someone like Tate wants to climb on board. that's the least of our worries
Speaking of potential transfers, is there any news on Olidapo? Was he able to enter the transfer portal??

Also, hard pass on Tate Martel. Watched QB1 and haven't been a fan since then. Don't think he is the type of kid the program needs
Doesn't Tate have only one year left and wouldn't Hurts have to sit out a year?Khalil Tate posted on his Instagram story that he is expected to graduate Summer 2019. Also, saw on Twitter that Vegas has Arizona with the second best odds to land Jalen Hurts. Now why would Arizona want Hurts if they have Tate?
