A little tough to get too over the moon about a recruiting class that might end up being significantly reworked after a coaching change, but then again, the evidence is that more kids stay committed to the new staff than the conventional wisdom suggests.

It would be more of an issue of keeping the offensive staff together. Just promote Rod if things go wrong this fall and retain CP, AHS, Bellamy and maybe McClain. He could then hire someone like Tony Gibson to fix the defense.

Yes, there he is! I was waiting for Gritty to come try crapping in our cheerios. Good things happen followed by negative post from Gritty. The cycle of this board

No, this is good!

And two guys does not a class make, but it's nice to prospectively see that we wouldn't be likely caught in a situation where we limp to a pathetic 6-6 with recruiting flatlining and roll it over into nowhere.

You build a nice class heading into this fall and you're making any hard decisions from a position of strength.

I know this is good. But your first comment was, well let's not get too excited because we are likely to not win 6 games and the coaching staff is going to get fired so let's hope we can keep these commitments here.
