Giorgi, Griffen and now Hawkins. This staff is doing wonders with sleepers.
If I am not mistaken, in all three cases the staff was scouting other higher ranking players, on their HS/club teams, and found these guys.

Kinda hard to give Hawkins that title yet...has yet to play a college game.Giorgi, Griffen and now Hawkins. This staff is doing wonders with sleepers.
Size is definitely a major consideration. Magic Johnson isn't Magic Johnson if he was 6'0" tall. Honestly, Ayo isn't a draft prospect if he wasn't 6'5".Is it just me, or is the only thing keeping Curbelo from being a Top 10 (maybe Top 5) recruit is his slight build? His highlights are otherworldly!!

Don't be fooled. The guy will be pushing both Giorgi and Kofi to the bench. In fact, with his addition, Underwood is going to be able to deploy his vaunted 4 on 5 offense that opens up more driving lanes for our guards.Kinda hard to give Hawkins that title yet...has yet to play a college game.
The only way Kofi gets sent to the bench is if he fall asleep on it, not going to happen.Don't be fooled. The guy will be pushing both Giorgi and Kofi to the bench. Hawkins is THAT good.
I am curious. Who was a higher ranked player on his team than Griffin? Remember that he was NY state Player of the Year.If I am not mistaken, in all three cases the staff was scouting other higher ranking players, on their HS/club teams, and found these guys.

His younger brother was well liked but, he was not considered the better player at that time. His younger brother.
Not sure if he was or not, but he was definitely the higher caliber recruit, even at that time. His younger brother was well liked but, he was not considered the better player at that time.

Not sure but who were they playing when BU saw him? Know that was the case with Kouma (Watching Whitney).I am curious. Who was a higher ranked player on his team than Griffin? Remember that he was NY state Player of the Year.
