I was doing some checking and I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this. It seems like it has happened
with other players as well over the years.
A. Example, concerning Mr. Curbelo, a sports website lists 5 who are wanting him. The biggest name appears to be Miami, not exactly
a blue blood.
However, if one clicks the "view all", 16 more colleges are listed, including some big names, even a blue blood or two.
These include Florida, Kansas, Indiana, Georgetown, Oregon, West Virginia; all 21 offering scholarships.
Phychologically speaking, placing these big names on the "front page" gives the Illini a little more clout. They beat out some
big boys. Putting them on the second/back page, is another matter. I found it interesting.
