Not sure what only 14 mpg means for Tomas.
That’s the highest on the team. Also took the most shots on the team.

Statistical error obviously. Many games showed he just played 1 minute when he obviously played almost the entire game based on his statsThat’s the highest on the team. Also took the most shots on the team.

I think this is spot on. I played baseball against Indian Hills back in the day. A lot of times these games have students making a couple of bucks on work study at the scoring table and keeping stats.Statistical error obviously. Staff spreading a wide net to find a shooter. Intriguing JUCO prospect.

Yeah, minutes are always screwed up when it comes to JUCO stats. Not sure if this has been linked, but here is his game log.

48% from 3?... Don’t even need to watch film. I’m in.
just like alan griffinIf only that were true.
I did a search on him, and the game logs put him at 54 - 137, or 39.4%. Still very good of course, but not other-worldly. I watched a highlight video and he's lanky. Athleticism didn't strike me as a high-major kid at first blush, but he had some drives where he uses his length to go around guys and put it high on the glass. Seems like he would benefit significantly from a high-major program where he'd improve strength etc.. A few of his 3s were impressive --on the move or contested shots. Nice stroke. Hard not to like good shooter with length. Really needs some power to his game in every aspect though.
Makes a lot of sense in the same way Feliz made a lot of sense. Fill a hole in the rotation with a ready-to-play specialist. And two years to play beats the heck out of one.

Keep fighting the fight PlayAZ. You should be this kid's agent.Rather have this kid!Kayne Henry, and he loves to play defense, and the staff knows their staff. Played behind Chris Duarte who got most of the playing time with good reason.
AZ pumping the Kayne Henry tapes. Love it! I am with you on this kid.Rather have this kid!Kayne Henry, and he loves to play defense, and the staff knows their staff. Played behind Chris Duarte who got most of the playing time with good reason.
Piper's article about him said he made 100 3's last year so....not sure how you came up with 54If only that were true.

That would be... ideal, actually. But he's going to have his pick of destinations, as he's likely the best player in the vaunted Transfer Portal.Blackshear from Va Tech entering the transfer portal. Any chance we go after him? Him and Giorgi at the 4 next year, along with Cockburn at the 5, would be the best frontcourt we’d probably ever had. Would move Jones/Nichols to their natural positions at the 3, and would allow Ayo/Trent/Feliz/Williams/Griffin to compete for minutes at the other guard spots. That roster is top 4 Big Ten IMO...however; doubt we go after him hard, but isn’t he the perfect fit at the 4?

Thanks for posting. I think the score keeper is from Edwardsville.

Visiting Kansas nextIf we have two open scholarships (Higgs and January) I would be very happy with Holyfield and a good shooter. Any news on Holyfield?
