The last 7pm home game I remember is Arizona State in like 2011. That can't be the last one can it?

Don't feel good about the defense, but a game we can win. Anyone want to predict the line? I'll guess we get 6.5

Let's win on Saturday and make this a big game. You have to be in a big game to win a big game.

I just wish Nebraska hadn't blown in against Colorado, both for ranking purposes and for not waking up an overrated team purposes.

I’d love a throwback to the Rose Bowl season combo of Orange helmets, blue jerseys, white pants at some point.

Also, we've worn all orange for the big major night game in each of Lovie's three seasons and gotten stomped in all three. Let's wear something else shall we?
I am thinking it should be an Orange Out game so all of the Nebby fans kinda blend in and in the night lights look more orangish - if we go with blue or white - it will be unfortunately sorely obvious how many more fans they have there

So these are our last couple of Saturday night games and the crowds we drew at home:

2010: 52,217 vs. Southern Illinois (0-1 at the time)
2011: 50,843 vs. #22 Arizona State (2-0 at the time)
2012: 46,539 vs. Louisiana Tech (2-1 at the time) ... I attended this debacle.
2013: 47,362 vs. #25 Wisconsin (3-2 at the time)
2016: 60,670 vs. North Carolina (1-0 at the time)
2019: TBD vs. Nebraska (HOPEFULLY 3-0 at the time)

God, with Nebraska fans included, you would really think we could push 55,000 if we are able to handle Eastern Michigan and have a 3-0 record. We at least need to push 50,000, as I have noticed that this seems to be the threshold for "looking soldout" on TV, haha.

I think that would go a long way with potential recruits as far as playing environment

Maybe the most heroic performance by this fanbase of all time. An act of pure hope. Though also a comprehensive refutation of the idea that everybody expected us to go 4-23 in the B1G before having any chance to compete.

Don't even need the superstition, let's just not wear all orange because it looks hideous.

Hey man, we're Illinois, we're going to go garishly, excessively orange from time to time.

As an Illinois graduate and an employee of the second largest grower/processor/seller of carrots in North America, I approve of looking like Team Carrot! (y)🥕
Perhaps they will sponsor our much anticipated overhaul of the FPC in 2 years.... :)
