Good luck Mr. Dudek. And thank you for setting such a fine example of dedication, persistence, and hard work.

DudeK deserves better. He's worked so hard. I just feel terrible for the guy. With his work ethic he'll go far. Just not in football, unfortunately.
What a beautiful tribute by Scott Van Pelt on ESPN. He said what all of us are saying and thinking. This really sucks. We, Illini Nation, wish nothing but the best for Mikey (and his parents, too) because he (and they) deserve it. #IlliniForLifeFrom http://www.TheChampaignRoom.com/, Mikey on ESPN Sportscenter tonight...
As a football player. With his work ethic, intelligence, and endearing personality, I could very much see him having success in coaching.
Nonetheless, I feel awful for him. But I have confidence he'll be successful in whatever he does.
I always thought SVP was one of the best - and this just solidified it.
Wait, you mean SC is going to air something that isn't just manufactured hype or controversy? Wow!
SVP deserves as much screen time as anyone at ESPN. If you know anything about him, this kind of stuff is right down his alley. He's plugged in to more than just the stats and superficial stuff.I always thought SVP was one of the best - and this just solidified it.
This is such a statistical aberration that it makes me wonder if one of his previous injuries was mismanaged by this or the previous staff, leaving him more susceptible to future injury.
I just feel awful for the guy.
Put a #18 patch on the front of every jersey - let's use this as motivation to play our hardest every single play. Just like he did.
Best of luck Mike.
