Agree good article. The lesson here is: 1. hire a lawyer, 2. Offer assistance for cheating to all students, 3. Cheat again and again because of number 1.

Slight edit to #1: hire a lawyer and refuse to cooperate with the NCAA investigation.

USC, a major football blue blood, took a suspension over the Reggie Bush mess.
USC has been a bad boy for a long time - on par with Ole Miss , worse than us actually

the NCAA makes very little money so to speak from FBS football in that they don't get any real money from the bowls
with regards to basketball, they own the tourney and make tons of money from it

Kentucky, while a blue blood in hoops, has also been a bad boy and they cant get away with much due to their outlaw history

but you get the point

USC got royally screwed. They fought it and came up short. Penn State got hosed when the NCAA marched in after the criminal investigation took place, where they had no business doing so. Imposed a $60 million penalty. And Beckman showed up. I'm just waiting and waiting till Duke takes a fall. Nah, will never happen.
