This would be an awesome win. If we lose big, we probably know that another win from here on out will be a real challenge. However, if we come out fired up and can get a road victory, all of a sudden we are still .500 over halfway through the season with our only losses coming to top [35] teams (wouldn't surprise me if Purdue ends up ranked before the season is over ... they look good, and they're simply fighting the stigma of the early losses at this point) and games remaining vs. Minnesota, Nebraska and Northwestern. It sounds corny to phrase every week's game as "super important" or whatever, but that's the life of being a team just under bowl eligibility. In fact, I will go out on a limb to say that if we lose this one, we will win 0-1 more games this year (that home date vs. Minnesota will decide it, IMO). However, if we win this one and get some confidence back and more importantly show that we are maybe a little better than we have looked the past couple of weeks, we could still get to 6 wins. If you can beat Maryland on the road, you can beat Minnesota at home and take one of Nebraska (still only won one game, let's not forget) and Northwestern (just beat that Rutgers team we killed by 3). So, let's win.
