If you base your judgement of Nebraska based soley on how and who they lost to, their season looks very, very similar to ours. A 41-24 loss to Wisconsin, 42-28 loss to Purdue, and a 53-28 win against MInny. We didn't lose to a G5 opponent like Troy, but Troy isn't like most G5 teams. They got man handled by Michigan, but have absolutely played better the past 4 games.2-6 with one of the two wins over small school Bethune-Cookman.
Nebraska -19.5
There ya go.Where can you buy that cool outside shirt/sweater Lovie has on in this video ? .... That's cool...

I don't think anyone is going out on a limb by suggesting a win is 'possible'. 'Likely' would need some rational defense in this case.
With all due respect, I don't get why many think Nebraska is a winnable game in Lincoln.... They have been getting better and better each week, and just gave tOSU a big-time run for their money. We would have to play a near perfect game, while they stumble badly... And I don't think it will happen in Lincoln. Please explain why you think this is possible... respectfully
I know you're suppose to take one game at a time, but can we please commit to winning out? I mean, really, why the hell not? Reproduce the Minny game 3 more times and there you go!
No, we cannot commit to winning out because that is incredibly unrealistic. We have 2 conference wins the last 2 years, and we are talking about winning the next 3 consecutive? We will be big underdogs the rest of the way and absolutely nothing we have seen this season shows that we have much of a chance against Iowa.

If we play the way we did on Saturday we have a chance against Iowa.

This post is painful to read. We'll probably need an off-game by Iowa, too, but that is not outside the realm of possibility given they have Northwestern the week before (ouch, that hurt to type, LOL), Nebraska the week after and - if my luck is any indication since I'll be making the trip - very crappy weather.
What if we come out strong and the referees are at least 50:50. Haven't seen Nebraska play so can't really comment. Wins more important than morale victories or close games. We have 4 wins and should of won against S Florida, gave it away.
Random Response: 1) AJ made a jump in productivity - passing much better/quicker (and not thinking as much) handing off more - lets hope that sticks. 2) The D stepped it up last week and was MUCH more aggressive (good things happen when you attack, and of course Hobbs and Adams are in) - lets hope that sticks.Random note: Illinois had the biggest leap this past week in S&P+ rankings. Went into last Saturday as the 114th ranked DI football team, left as 100th. Minnesota dropped 15 spots from the loss.
Nebraska is their 56th ranked D1 team (For comparison, Minnesota was 59th going into last Saturday)

Will still be tough to win away from home, but let's see if we can keep the two progressing this week.
