I wish that was in place for the 1984 tourney game as well. Although I can't remember if that out-of-bounds was within the last two minutes.

I had my games mixed up, that was the phantom foul supposedly committed by Douglas on a clear tie-up with less than a minute left...and the Kentucky player also travelled if I recall.

Anyway, let's take that out on Miami too.

I was 10 years old for the Dicky Beal game. I remember it to this day both for the horrible reffing and the fact that it was the first time I ever swore out loud in front of my parents.:tape:

I was glad to hear Williams is being aggressive in practice going to the hoop and shooting the 3. If he can bring even some of that to games like tomorrow and B10 season he would help out in a big way.

I see we are getting so many poster's arch-nemesis, Dakich, to announce.

I realize Miami has lostc3 games but Louisville, Florida, and UConn are all solid programs. Now they play us. Miami has a.very tough schedule and I think they just got a player back as well so we need to be ready.

While those are three solid programs, Florida & UConn are both 4-2 this year & they beat Miami by 20 & 25 points respectively.

This is an average to bad Miami team.

Why is it in the 20 games we have played in the CHALLENGE only 8 have been home games and 12 road games? That sucks!

Honestly I like road games better. Need that tough environment vs a major conference team to get the team ready for big ten play. At times this challenge games has been our only true road non con. Having played at Arizona this year, I feel like we’ve accomplished that. And it’s also nice to give the fans a high major team to see in Champaign before Conference play comes around.

We have had a couple of streaks, but overall, we are 8-12 (.400). We peaked at 7-7 (.500) after that George Tech win in 2012-13, at the time the best record among Big Ten teams (IIRC). I would say it's time we start winning some games and getting those fun matchups again, starting with BEATING MIAMI! Here are all of the opponents we've had:

Maryland (x4)
North Carolina (x4)
Clemson (x2)
Duke (x2)
Georgia Tech (x2)
Miami (FL) [x2] ... counting this year
Notre Dame (x2)
Wake Forest (x2)
NC State (x1)
