Blues look like they'll be in the market for a new AHL team as the San Antonio Rampage (which were owned by Spurs Sports & Entertainment) have been sold to the Vegas Golden Knights who intend to move the team to Henderson, Nevada beginning next season: https://www.stltoday.com/sports/hockey/professional/morning-skate/blues-in-the-market-for-new-farm-team-after-vegas/article_630b90c8-6a96-5992-94a1-2780b5a5f21c.html

The STLToday article makes it seem as if there may be a reunion between the Blues and the Chicago Wolves.

Blues defenseman Jay Bouwmeester suffered a cardiac episode during last night's game in Anaheim which led to the game being postponed. Doug Armstrong did say today that things are looking very positive for Bouwmeester as he is still undergoing tests to determine the how and why of what happened last night.

That was a very, very scary moment. Thank goodness he's all right!

Agreed. They did have to use a defibrilator on him right after it happened but he regained consciousness immediately.

Kind of a freaky thing for it to happen too on this road trip as this is the annual dad's trip where the players' fathers come along on the trip with them.

Bouwmeester has undergone a procedure to put in an implantable cardioverter-defibrilator and his status will be updated next week.

At this point, the plan is for him to stay in the hospital in Anaheim and then eventually be allowed to leave and head back to St. Louis.

Blues have acquired defenseman Marco Scandella from the Canadiens for a 2020 2nd round pick and a conditional 2021 4th round pick.

Blues basically had to make this move after the recent events with Bouwmeester. While team was likely going to look for help with forwards originally, losing Bouwmeester basically forced their hand. A lot of what they decide to do between now and Monday at 3:00 PM ET will also depend on how Tarasenko is tracking in his recovery.
