It will be interestig to see if Wisky does the same thing to the kitty cats as they did to UMich. It's all about consistency, you know.

So then, which team is the biggest enigma? Us or Md? Considering Md came out like gangbusters to start the season, and we have gradually trended downward from game 1, I don't know how to explain these things.

For context, Maryland came out 5-6 years ago and refused to shake hands with Penn State before the opening kickoff. After that game, there has been a very dedicated effort at Penn State to humiliate Maryland, and this is three years in a row now. 66-3 in 2017, 38-3 last year, and 59-0 tonight. There's just something about this "rivalry" that creates this beatdown.

But there's no doubt that Locks got exposed against Temple, and he's a fraud.

Didn't realize we were also playing last week to keep Nebraska from hosting Gameday.

Honestly there weren't many better options. The only other top 25 games are USC at Washington and UVA at Notre Dame (and they wouldn't be going to South Bend a week after having ND). They probably would have gone to Washington State-Utah if both teams hadn't lost last week.

Just letting HopingFor500 know about another sissy targeting call that’s ruining our game. NIU was called for targeting when the Vandy player also lowered his helmet. Dumb !!! SEC rules analyst said player was defenseless which is a lie. Enjoy whatever they are calling this game these days. But it’s not football.

We have some great coaches in the big ten, but Fitz would be in the top 3 whiners and Franklin at the top of the classless list

What the heck is Fitz thinking (twice) not going for the extra point by kicking???

Surprising start in West Lafayette as Minnesota is up 14-3 before the end of the 1st quarter.

Moore injury looked bad.

Eric Sindelar looked like he dislocated his shoulder or broke his collarbone on the same play too

MN @ PU looking good
PU lost starting qb and Moore - that's a huge part of their game (captain obvious statement of course).

Honestly after watching games today I think Minny, Purdue, NU and of course Rutgers are all potentials if we can play 1/2 way decent.

You mean the guy who has a well-known reputation for community service, deliberately refuses to recruit kids with off-the-field issues, and is known throughout coaching circles for being among those that absolutely will not negative recruit? Yeah, what a jerk :)

If you're wondering why his team poured 59 on Maryland, you may want to dig into the history between he and Maryland (and the stuff that Locksley has been telling recruits about Penn State on the recruiting trail).

As for Fitz......he had some valid gripes today, to include a key defensive holding no-call that would have prolonged their drive and given them a chance at getting points before the half.

To be fair - if its the play he went berserk on - the ball was well out of bounds on that holding call and I didn't see him yelling at the ref on an obvious holding his team had on a play near the endzone. so....
