Not sure how Otamendi got away without a straight red after kicking the ball against Rakitic's head long after the whistle had blown. I though VAR was supposed to be able to correct this kind of ref mistake.

What a strike by Kroos to give Germany the win over Sweden in stoppage time!
England absolutely dominating Panama in today's first match. Three Lions up 5:0 at half. 2 goals apiece from Kane (both on PKs) and John Stones with an additional goal by Jesse Lingard.
The 5 goals are the most goals England have ever scored in a single World Cup match. The broadcast mentioned that the last time they had scored even 4 in a World Cup match was in the 1966 final vs. West Germany.

-Mexico need a point vs. Sweden to go through and top the group. They are definitely through with a defeat if Germany fail to win.
-Sweden are guaranteed to qualify if they win or better Germany's result. If they beat Mexico and Germany fail to win, Sweden will top the group.
-Germany must win by two or more goals or better Sweden's result to guarantee qualifying.
-If both Germany and Sweden draw, the team in the higher-scoring game will finish second. If both draws are the same scoreline, Germany finish second on head-to-head.

This second half between France and Argentina has been entertaining as hell thus far.
