With free admission to the show, the crowd serves as the backdrop. Illinois wants to break the attendance record of 8,149, set last weekend at Kansas State, to promote the basketball program and boost Orange Krush fundraising.
"It's great exposure to the university, the Orange Krush and the fans," Weber said. "We have a special program here. We get to show it off for a weekend. I hope it helps in a lot of different ways."
