'More riddles than answers' for UI football recruiting

The answer to the Illini's recruiting problems seems to be simple: win, baby, win.
"When you're a program that maybe didn't win many football games last year ... you're not going to have a great start to the recruiting class," Ladky said. "But if you can go in there, win a couple of games early, you know you have good recruiters on that staff - Ron Zook is a tremendous recruiter - then maybe you can get the ball rolling a little bit. It's kind of wait and see for them."
