Jeff Allen named candidate for Lowe's Senior CLASS Award

University of Illinois senior tackle Jeff Allen was named one of 30 candidates for the 2011 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award Tuesday. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be a senior at a Football Bowl Subdivision institution and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. Allen is one of eight candidates from the Big Ten.
